Print Management's Print Division Expands

Today the business is expanding, by utilising the latest variable digital print and launching an in-house creative team.
Whetton's previous employers included Next plc and Liason Print Solutions.
He said: "I was looking for a new challenge and OTM offered me the perfect vehicle to start up and develop a completely new business venture." Opus Print Management's role is to fulfil OTM's own print purchasing requirements, source work to be produced at OTM's letter shop and fulfilment centre in Swindon and to provide a value for money one stop service for third party clients.
Martin Whetton estimates that Opus Print Management saves clients on average up to 10 per cent in costs, which is principally done by using the buying power the organisation has in the print market.
The OTM organisation sources print for up to 150 million items on an annual basis, which it prints and places in to the postal system.
Whetton has now turned his attention to sourcing OTM's digital printing operations.
He commented: "It's a greater challenge sourcing print for our iGen operations as our clients not only require conventional stationery but also never tear stationery stock, which we currently use for the First Choice holidays ticket booklet." Opus Print Management said that it works closely with its customers and its services range from providing full campaign management to producing one piece mailers.
Its expansion has resulted in the addition of several sales and client services personnel.
OTM plans over the next 12 months include establishing its own creative department.
Whetton said: "We need to turn around samples faster and we are currently adding Apple Macs and the Darwin Product to our portfolio.
That will ensure speed and quality control and reduce costs for our clients.".
