Thirty Chinese businessmen attending the Ipex 2006 exhibition asked Xerox to organise a visit to a print systems company that has expertise in colour digital printing.

Thirty Chinese businessmen attending the Ipex 2006 exhibition asked Xerox to organise a visit to a print systems company that has expertise in colour digital printing.

Xerox chose OTM, the Leicester (UK) transactional and digital print company.

In 2005, OTM installed two of Xerox's iGen3 printers, which are currently used to produce personalised ticket booklets for the tour operator First Choice Holidays.

The visitors were given a demonstration of how the machines work and managing director Kris Prashad explained that the personalisation was achieved primarily through the skill of OTM's IT team and the flexibility of its system.

OTM said that the visitors were very interested in how sales were achieved and the quality system that the company applied to ensure that output was of the highest quality.

Stella Chen of Xerox, who accompanied the visitors said: "They were impressed and pleased with what they saw.".
