Leicester (UK) transactional mail house OTM is to set up an in-house repro department after moving in to four-colour variable data printing.

Leicester (UK) transactional mail house OTM is to set up an in-house repro department after moving in to four-colour variable data printing.

The firm's procurement arm, Opus Print Management (OPM), plans to set up the service within six months and is in the process of recruiting people for two new positions.

OPM managing director Martin Whetton said: "Because we've moved in to four-colour with our two iGen3s presses, we need to be able to handle and amend artwork.

But when we start using [Xerox's] Darwin we may well find ourselves moving more in to creative work.".
