Sales departments and accounts departments are uneasy bedfellows in almost every organisation, yet the latest developments in transactional mail enable both to work together, according to OTM That way, OTM believes that companies could benefit from improved marketing and the faster payment of bills
OTM said that Transactional mail is the mail that companies have to send - bills, statements, invoices, payroll and statutory communications.
In the UK alone, more than 20,000 firms issue 6.7 billion statements a year.
A further 7,500 telecoms businesses, financial organisations and utillities issue three billion bills annually.
That volume is due to increase not least because the number of households will increase by one per cent per annum over the coming years, added the company.
