Print Management Software Checks Data Entries
Printuitive, the management information system (MIS) from Outsourced Projects, now has the ability to check the data users enter.
Stephen Matthews, managing director of Outsourced Projects said: "In designing Printuitive, we wanted to produce a product that would genuinely revolutionise and simplify the whole print estimating and production process for the smaller printing company.
In fact our goal is to do for printing, what Easyjet did for the holiday industry.
That is to supply a great product that makes life a whole lot easier, simpler, more efficient, at a price anyone can afford." Jeff Brown, a director of Teesside company Express Print Works, said: "Obviously cost pays an important part in any buying decision for a company and we consider that Printuitive scores over its rivals by its realistically priced cost per seat and particularly the fact that there are no extra costs in relation to annual charges.

Beta Software Offered For Further Development
Outsourced Projects has developed a new software package that is claimed to handle all functions from customer quotation, production tracking and job timings, to sales invoicing.
Once you have purchased the package then that is all you pay." Outsourced Projects believes that it should not be necessary for software companies to charge retainer fees.
Stephen Matthews added: "Quality software needs little or no intervention.
If the product does what it says on the tin, the customer will stay loyal to the vendor." Brown commented: "As an early user of the system and a beta test site, we were impressed by Outsourced Projects' friendly and flexible attitude and more importantly, by the way our suggested adjustments to the software were taken on board." He continued: "Printuitive is easy to use with a little practice and the templates, which we have built up, help to speed up the process of quoting on similar jobs.
Our quotations are now produced simply and quickly and can be faxed or e-mailed directly to our customers in an easily understood and very professional looking format.
Running both offset litho presses and colour digital machines, it is a bonus that we can quote on all jobs using Printuitive.
The fact that we can see the margin we are making on a job gives us useful management information in respect of the type of jobs, which we should be targeting." And Brown added: "Not only has Printuitive helped us respond much quicker to enquiries, we are now more in-tune with our marketplace and winning new business because of it." Printuitive is distributed and licensed exclusively by Outsourced Projects. Request a free brochure from Outsourced Projects ...
