Print Management System Firm Links With Itek

Outsourced Projects has announced that it is forming a business partnership with Itek Colour Graphics.

Outsourced Projects, which claims to be the only UK software house dedicated to the needs of the smaller printing company, has announced that it is forming a business partnership with Itek Colour Graphics.

Having entered the printing industry in 2006 with the launch of its print management system Printuitive, which is now said to be plugging a gap in the market.

Based on a Filemaker Pro 8.5 platform, Printuitive works on Mac and PC and caters for both litho and digital printing, or both combined.

Outsourced Projects also serves the need of universities and government departments, alike, added the company.

In contrast, Itek Colour Graphics (ICG) is an established company focusing on electronic imaging and digital products from image capture through to output.

It designs, manufactures and markets a range of pre-press equipment, which it supports with training, application and maintenance services.

The company operates autonomously on an international scale through a network of specialist graphic art, photographic dealers and distributors.

Twice in its history the company's products have been recognised by the Queen's Award for Industry for technological achievement.

Outsourced Projects' managing director, Stephen Matthews, said: "There is a natural symbiosis between our two companies and a real opportunity for us both to grow and promote our businesses by working together.

Not only will partnering with ICG broaden Outsourced Projects' portfolio, it will introduce our software to a greater audience at a much faster rate than simply though our own efforts." Ian Smith, sales director at ICG, added: "Much of the targeted customer base is the same for both our companies.

Small printers and companies looking to purchase and enlarge digital printing facilities are of considerable interest to us.
