Paragon Data Systems has launched its new push-button labelling system.

Paragon Data Systems has launched its new push-button labelling system.

Said to be suitable for a variety of labelling applications, the system allows multiple lines to be fed to one operator who can label a variety of products.

It also eliminates the need for pre-printed rolls of labels and multiple printers in the same work space, said the company.

Paragon's push-button system replaces the conventional labelling method of pre-printing large quantities of labels, which is inefficient because it often wastes inventory.

With the system, operators can print individual labels at the push of a button, allowing them to be more efficient in handling variable products, whilst reducing label waste by allowing operators to only print the amount of labels that are specifically needed, said Paragon.

Paragon's system is claimed to be easy to install and flexible to work with and the company said that the labelling system only needs printers and an Ethernet I/O interface.

It comes with label design software and server software that manages which products are running on what lines at any time, so that the supervisor of the line is able to manage the data that is being printed.

Installation services are offered through Paragon.
