PaperSpecs is holding a Webinar, Managing Critical Colour, with Daniel Dejan, North American ETC print and creative manager of Sappi Fine Paper.
Dejan will focus on the following critical areas of colour image printing: image capture, ensuring images - whether shot or downloaded - have the correct profiles for your workspace; managing critical colours throughout the process; tools most needed for proper colour viewing and quantification; rendering intents and releasing files to printers to get as close to colour expectations as possible, with minimal quality or time loss, or unexpected fees.
'I'll discuss working with photographers regarding image capture requirements and retouching,' says Dejan, 'as well as how to anticipate paper's impact on colour and the proper workflow for releasing files.'.
