Pantone has introduced myPANTONE.com, which is described as an online community for creative personnel for colour exploration, inspiration and palette sharing.
The company said that users can join myPANTONE.com and examine the latest Pantone forecasts about trends in colour palettes for the printing and graphics, or review, post comments and rate other member's palettes Users can also download the myPANTONE palettes software at no cost to create and share their own colour palettes

Pantone added that the new online community works in conjunction with the myPANTONE palettes software, an interactive colour workspace for working with colours and a component of the new Goe System.
Members can begin creating palettes immediately, or buy electronic versions of their favourite Pantone libraries to generate palettes.
All Goe System products include myPANTONE palettes software and electronic versions of the Goe system and Matching System libraries at no additional cost, said Pantone.

She added that myPANTONE palettes software provides multiple ways to select colours.
Users can choose custom colours from colour pickers, imported images, colours on their computer desktops, established Pantone libraries or, according to colour harmonies, monochromatic, analogous, complementary, split complementary, triadic and tetradic colours.
After selecting individual colours, users can drag and drop them within the myPalettes area to create a colour palette.
They also have the ability to view any saved palettes, print, export, organise and lock palettes, as well as edit individual colour properties, commented Pantone.
When communicating colours, members can utilise the myPalette reader to convey details of the palette, the usage of the colours and any other details pertaining to the palette.
A built-in utility lets them upload palettes to myPANTONE.com.
