Tear Tape Collection Has Designs On Premium Brands

A Payne Security product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Nov 20, 2007

Increasing popularity of tear tape as a branding and communications tool has been underlined by the launch of stylish new Designer Collection from leading manufacturer Payne.

The Designer Collection is aimed at premium brand owners who are keen to communicate with consumers but desire a method that complements both their high-quality image and packaging styles.

Utilising Payne's renowned reputation in printing, the Designer Collection employs sophisticated inks and print techniques to achieve striking visual effects.

Currently the Collection comprises two varieties - the Silk Collection and the Washed Metallics range - and further additions are planned for 2008.

The Silk Collection uses a range of specially formulated transparent inks that, when printed as a solid, give the effect of fine silk.

Any pastel shade colour is possible which can be under or overprinted with text or design effects to give a luxurious effect.

Alternatively, Washed Metallics offer a brilliant, coloured eye catching mirror finish, customised to customer requirements.

"Tear tape has proven its versatility as a means of combining easy opening with effective branding and communications," explains Simon Wildash, Payne's Head of Marketing.

"The launch of the Designer Collection takes this trend to the next level by offering premium brand owners the opportunity to deliver their messages in an elegant and sophisticated way.".
