Catalogue Production System Saves Time and Money
Pindar's Agility CMS has been chosen by J and P Cycles, a business-to-consumer catalogue retailer, to simplify its complex catalogue production processes, which saves both time and money.
It provides tools to help build catalogue pages quickly and efficiently and enables teams to work collaboratively.
The master information can be reused for future publications and it is extracted for other marketing channels, such as websites, said Pindar.
Ironmongery Direct's decision to increase its multi-channel marketing to drive its business growth meant that CMS was suited for its expanding needs.
The main catalogue has grown year-on-year to 480-pages with 7,000-plus products available on-line, added Pindar.
Samantha Wilson, at Ironmongery Direct - a specialist provider of ironmongery products, said: "As our business developed, we were spending too much time producing our marketing campaigns and needed a more effective process for our publishing needs, as well as a rapid return on investment.
We looked at a number of vendors but chose Pindar's content management system, as it is best suited for our cataloguing needs.
This year we chose to complete a section of our catalogue using CMS, which proved hugely successful.
I look forward to producing all of our marketing material in this way from now on and it's been so easy to integrate with our other office systems." Gary Utton, Pindar's sales director, said: "This was the right time for Ironmongery Direct to introduce our CMS.
It has successfully implemented this through a phased approach.
I am really pleased that our solutions have helped them to save time, reduce duplication of effort and improve control of information.
The systems have been continuously developed over the last 10 years to help our customers with their publishing needs through web, catalogues, mailers or any preferred route to market.".
