Pindar Produced Catalogue's Resounding Success
Pindar today announced Linda Barker's new retail mail order catalogue design is a resounding success.

In addition, information, such as students' names, encrypted reference numbers and even where students will sit in an exam hall can be pre-printed." He added: "With this level of information contained on the papers, exam authorities can easily identify who a specific exam paper belongs to." The investment includes four Oce Variostream 7000s, a Variostream 7400 twin and a VarioStream 7450 twin, as well as a range of paper handling and binding equipment, linked together in two automated high-speed production lines.
The Variostream 7000 series is said to be a family of flexible continuous-feed digital presses.
The Variostream printers at Pindar produce up to 500 A4 pages per minute in single mode.
They can process native data streams in a range of formats including AFP/IPDS, PCL and E/C mode, and when combined with Oce's Prisma software modules, it is claimed that there is no limit to the data input choices, such as PostScript and PDF.
Brannan continued: "We have been impressed with the high volumes and exceptional print quality of the exam papers produced on the Oce Variostreams, and their reliability.
We have built our reputation over the years by delivering a high quality, secure service and meeting our customers' deadlines.
We are confident that Oce will help us maintain these very high standards and give us added flexibility to provide a wider range of services to our customers.
" Simon Wheeler, business unit director for digital document systems, said: "Pindar has a fantastic reputation for delivering secure print services, and we are sure the benefits of the Variostreams will soon be realised.
The company now has an improved level of secure digital capability that still conforms to the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority standards, making it a clear leader in this market.".
