Pindar's New Office Serves French
Catalogue Market
Pindar has opened a French office to provide improved service and support to its French business, which is centred on catalogue software solutions and production services.
The company said that it has been selling its catalogue publishing software, AgilityCMS, in France for seven years It has a number of French customers, including France Loisirs, a mail order and online bookseller and Thermo Fisher, which has produced catalogues in three languages using the AgilityCMS system

Bernard Philippe, who joined Pindar in January 08, is now responsible for managing the company's French operations.
He is said to have expertise and skills in the French catalogue and software market and has been involved with software integration company Galleio.
Philippe is working with the Pindar Graphics team and will provide training, integration and deployment services to other AgilityCMS customers throughout Europe.
Richard Hunt, Pindar's global sales and development director for Agility Publishing Software and Services, said: "Having a dedicated French office will secure better customer service and support for our existing customers in France and provide a bridgehead to launch a number of new products and services designed to help both business-to-business catalogue and retail mail order businesses to manage their product information and publish it across the multiple channels of web and print." Hunt added: "Adding a new French office to our locations in Auckland, New Zealand, Chicago, USA, York, England and supported by partners in Sweden and Germany, we can provide international businesses a truly global service and local business the personal touch they require.".
