Tewkesbury Output
Pindar Graphics has bought a Muller Martini binder as part of a GBP2.5 million investment programme, which has also included new IT projects.

Pindar Produced Catalogue's Resounding Success
Pindar today announced Linda Barker's new retail mail order catalogue design is a resounding success.
That, together with the restructuring of staff in to new crews, as well as weekly press maintenance and calibration, has already led to increased effectiveness of the presses and a better set-up to service the weekly magazine market and monthly and less frequent publications.
Pindar has also conducted a feasibility study on the purchase of a new press for the site later this year to meet the future requirements of the magazine publishing sector.
Pindar's announcement of investment at Tewkesbury follows the installation of a new Lithoman III short grain press at the firm's Scarborough site and the installation of 10-colour and 12-colour Heidlberg Speedmaster presses in Preston last year.
Andrew Dalton, Pindar's group chief executive officer, explained: ""Our expanded capabilities at Tewkesbury resulting from this investment mean that we can serve this industry sector efficiently and effectively.
The key challenge is to ensure we deliver on time.
The introduction of a fourth shift and new binding line at the site, combined with the continuing hard work, support and commitment from colleagues at Tewkesbury and around the business will help enable us to provide the service we know the weekly magazine market needs." Pindar's site in Tewkesbury currently supplies a number of UK magazine publishers.
Other titles printed by the company include Empire, Arena, FHM, Top Sante, Vanity Fair, House and Home Ideas and Easy Living.
