Ipex 2006 will see Perfectproof celebrate its 10th anniversary with a new corporate identity and a major product overhaul.
Ipex 2006 will see Perfectproof celebrate its 10th anniversary with a new corporate identity and a major product overhaul.
Under the new house colours, the company is set to showcase Proofmaster v3, the new software suite for colour accurate digital proofing and printing.
With over 4,500 installations since 2001, the company's Proofmaster software RIP forms one of the most complete packages available in the industry today, offering both Contone/1-bit proofing and photo printing, a variety of file formats, production tools, soft-proofing and workflow automation, added Verbist.
At Ipex, on stand H6 A20, Perfectproof will showcase the new Proofmaster v3 and target a number of new user groups by adding new functions based around the same colour management engine.
Next to enhanced proofing for offset, gravure, flexo and newspaper production, the software will now also offer film production for screen printers and wide format printing and cutting capability.
Visitors will see live demonstrations of the new colour accurate digital proofing and printing software suite at the stand Perfectproof shares with Enfocus.
The two Belgian software companies recently entered a technology partnership, which has already seen a close integration of Proofmaster with the new Pitstop Automate workflow system from Enfocus.
Details on that and on how certified proofing joins forces with certified PDF will be announced by both companies at the show with a party thrown for customers and partners.
E-commerce for printers will also take centre stage in the company's product line-up with Perfectproof's technology partner, Enfocus.
Printer's website, the turnkey internet storefront, which the company has just added to its product portfolio will also be on show.
Printer's Website was specifically developed to help local printing companies with limited, or no internet expertise to take their business on-line, said Perfectproof.
"Far beyond a basic website, the printer will have access to powerful tools such as on-line quotes, ordering and payment, job-tickets, file uploads and even personalisation of document templates," said John Weissberg, president of Perfectproof USA.
Ten years after its start-up, Perfectproof will unveil a total revamp of its corporate identity as the kick off to its celebratory program for 2006.
"We have had a great first decade with rapid growth fuelled by the introduction of our own line of RIP software", said Mark Verbist general manager at Perfectproof Europe.
"With the new image we want to take the company to the next level and build on the great relationships we have with our customers and partners.
It is exciting that for the first time all these applications will have access to the same level of color management from one software package," continued Verbist .
"As our customers are diversifying their activities, we now feel well armed to help smoothen their path," he added.
