On stand B1300, Fespa visitors will be able to see Proofmaster v3 proofing demonstrations on the Epson 7800, silk screen film production on the Epson 7400, wide format printing on the HP 9000, and cutting processing on Summa and Fotoba devices.

Proofmaster v3 is claimed to be the world's only software suite that can proof and drive wide format printing and silk screen printing applications from both Mac and PC.

The ability to go from design to production with guaranteed colour accuracy, and from a single platform, yields efficiency gains, said Perfectproof.

Proofmaster v3 is said to allow users to accurately simulate any wide format prints on a more manageable size ink jet printer.

Amongst a range of other things, customers can now easily embed different colour profiles to any object in a design, which will be printed on different substrates." The company said that the biggest difference in its approach compared with that of other systems was in the 'one-package-does-it-all', as opposed to orchestrating a collection of software programs to run simultaneously.

Because it is an all-in-one, fully integrated package, Proofmaster v3 is claimed to reduce training, installation and technical support time, yielding further savings.

It is also said to enable users to branch out to other markets, seize new opportunities, deliver value at less cost, and expand their customer bases.

Proofmaster v3 will be available worldwide during the second half of the second quarter this year said Perfectproof.
