Ex-Artwork Systems Director Joins Perfectproof

Perfectproof has appointed what it described as an industry heavyweight with the former Artwork Systems marketing director Tom Peire, who will spearhead sales for France and Italy.

Perfectproof has appointed what it described as an industry heavyweight with the former Artwork Systems marketing director Tom Peire, who will spearhead sales for France and Italy.

Taking the position of sales manager, Tom Peire will be looking to exploit Perfectproof's position in the French and Italian markets.

Peire served most recently as director of corporate marketing at Artwork Systems where he managed the company's range of marketing activities, including the Enfocus product line, on a worldwide level.

He joined Artwork Systems from Enfocus, which he had joined in 2001.

Throughout his time there, he was described as a key player in the promotion and success of Enfocus's software tools.

Peire's graphic arts career began at Scitex Europe (now Kodak) where he held various positions in marketing and sales.

Philippe Duval, another significant figure in the industry, according to Perfectproof, has joined the company as global technical support director.

He was previously with Founder and Agfa.

Duval will be heading up Perfectproof's global technical support teams in Dover (USA) and Mechelen (Belgium).

He will be reinforcing and expanding quality assurance, product training and technical support levels for all Perfectproof's software and media products.

He joined Perfectproof from Founder Europe, the European subsidiary of Founder Electronics and a Chinese graphic arts technology company.

As European support manager for Founder, Duval oversaw the technical support of the entire product portfolio, including customer training.

Prior to that, he held senior product line and support management positions with Agfa.

At its worldwide headquarters in Belgium and in Wilmington (MA), USA his responsibilities included managing quality assurance, customer support and documentation.
