Proofing RIP Simplifies Workflow And Cuts Costs

A PerfectProof Europe NV product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Apr 19, 2007

Perfectproof is to sponsor the sixth edition of the HP LFP Academy in Rome during May.

At the event, Perfectproof will be demonstrating how its products, particularly the Prooofmaster RIP software suite, are said to be setting new standards in the realm of colour-accurate productivity.

Proofmaster v3 demonstrations in Rome will feature proofing (on a Z-3100), large format production printing (on a HP9000 solvent printer), colour optimisation and ink saving.

Perfectproof said that Proofmaster allows users to cut costs and production times, whilst eliminating complexity at all stages of the workflow.

The Proofmaster v3 software suite for Intel Mac and PC supports the range of HP printers from Designjets to the super wide HP Scitex machines.

Proofmaster v3 provides such functions as PDF pre-flighting and ISO-standard colour proofs, whilst integrating in to a PDF-based production workflow.

Its modular structure around the Ncolor colour management engine is said to allow users the flexibility to run one or several applications from a single software platform.

The software is Fogra-certified for hard copy and soft-proofing and provides automated production (print and cutting) of packaging mock-ups and large to super wide production printing and cutting (OPOS/EPOS/I-cut).

It can also produce silk screen films and photographic and fine art printing.

The HP LFP Academy is said to help develop greater understanding of the HP large format printing business by bringing together selected resellers from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
