Proofing System For Large Format And Screen Print

Perfectproof's Proofmaster software is now being recognised as the world's most complete system for all digital large format and silkscreen printers, according to the company.

It is claimed to handle all aspects of printing, proofing and production, with Proofmaster v3.1 enabling silkscreen, large and wide format printers to go from design to final production, whether for billboard, sign or point-of-purchase production, with certified color accuracy.

Mark Verbist, general manager of Perfectproof Europe, commented: "During the past years, the digital large format market has mainly focused on hardware, with bigger and faster machines as a result.

But what good is a big and fast machine if it does not get the correct files on time? Proofmaster focuses on productivity in the workflow." He explained: "Currently it is the only software able to drive any wide format, silk screen or finishing applications with equal ease and accuracy." Proofmaster is said to provide a flexible platform that drives multiple machines, including cutting tables and plotters from the same package.

It also features file preparation and finishing tools, yielding additional time savings.

The company added that Proofmaster v3 reduces any training, installation and technical support time.

Perfectproof has also partnered with other industry leaders to offer more productivity increases and cost savings for its customers.

Perfectproof's partnership with Enfocus Software enables Proofmaster to detect pre-flighted certified PDF files and pass them through production quicker, said the company.

Proofmaster Color Optimiser bundles in the Alwan Color Expertise technology to pre-flight colour and standardise output on different machines.

Color Optimiser Pro goes beyond that, saving ink whilst maintaining the visual quality of the print.
