Presstek demonstrated the Dimension800 platesetter for the first time in Europe at IPEX.
This eight-page computer-to-plate system is highly compact, with a footprint of 185 x 84 x 127cm, and images Presstek's Anthem and Pearldry thermal plates in sizes ranges from 240 x 292mm to 813 x 1118mm.
The largest plate is imaged in just over five minutes at maximum resolution.
The Dimension 800 uses Presstek's Profire imaging technology and supports all popular RIPs and pre-press workflows, with automated conversion of 1-bit TIFF bitmap files for output and standard interface hardware and protocols.
