Presstek's German CTP And Plates Distribution Deal

Presstek has announced that during Drupa 2004 a distribution agreement was signed with Ring grafischer Fachhandler GmbH.

Presstek has announced that during Drupa 2004 a distribution agreement was signed with Ring grafischer Fachhandler GmbH.

Under the terms of the distribution agreement, Ring plans to sell and service the full range of Presstek CTP systems and chemistry-free CTP plates in Germany.

Ring was established in 1985, uniting 11 graphic trade suppliers.

Today its graphic union totals 22 members and services small to medium sized printers in Germany.

The company provides distribution services for the complete graphic supply chain, ranging from electronic imaging, through CTP, consumables and finishing equipment.

Wolfgang Grauer, managing director of Ring commented: "In Presstek we have found the ideal partner to take our distributed product portfolio to a higher level with environmentally friendly, chemistry-free CTP systems and consumables." Matthias Balcke, Presstek's sales manager for Germany added: "Ring has a strong reputation for supplying production systems to small and medium sized printers.
