Yves Ouaki, Drytone's sales director commented: "The addition of the Presstek product range will enable us to effectively meet the requirements of the small to medium offset market and at the best price.
The Dimension Excel CTP range fits perfectly in to our portfolio of products." Ouaki noted that Presstek's environmentally-friendly technology is a suitable match for Drytone's 'green' company philosophy.
"Presstek offers chemistry-free and process-free imaging solutions that satisfy France's current environmental regulations.
Customers using Presstek technology will be able to display a 'green printing' label certifying their commitment to protecting the environment.
From a corporate perspective, we are very happy to be able to contribute to a greener environment by offering eco-friendly products," explained Ouaki.
Presstek said that Drytone is the only distributor in France that offers a two-year warranty for all hardware products, providing that a regular maintenance program is in effect.
Its maintenance contract takes a preventive approach to maintaining equipment at a high level of productivity.
"We organise an average of between two and four visits per year with our customers, depending on their service contracts.
This pro-active approach allows us to perform regular maintenance of the equipment and avoids downtime situations at customer sites, saving a lot of money and frustration on both sides," said Yves Ouaki.
Yves Storms, Presstek's regional sales manager for France said: "Drytone is a perfect fit for the distributor profile that we were looking for in France.
It is a young dynamic company and shows a strong commitment to offering environmental free production solutions.
Their servicing programme will be extremely beneficial for Presstek's installed base of customers in France.
We look forward to working closely with Drytone to expand our customer reach and drive sales in the French market." Drytone France has distribution agreements for Xeikon, Luscher, Dotrix, Latran and Pluri Metal.
The company employs 15 people and in 2004 reported revenues of four million Euros.
