Presstek is making further organisational changes related to the consolidation of A B Dick, which was announced last August.

Associated with the change, the company announced today that Susan A McLaughlin, president of ABD International, North America and senior vice president of Presstek since January 2005, has resigned.

As a result of the consolidation of A B Dick's sales, service and other operational functions with Presstek, the company will be dissolving the operations of ABD International, which was formed at the time the company acquired A B Dick.

Consequently, the company has accepted McLaughlin's resignation.

Going forward, all sales, service and customer-facing operations, as well as Presstek Europe will report directly to Edward J Marino, Presstek's president and chief executive officer.

Included in the organisational announcement are new titles for two of the North American leadership team.

Emile Tabassi is appointed vice president of Presstek North American sales and Joe Musgrave is appointed vice president of Presstek North American service, respectively.

Marino said: "Our intentions when we began the consolidation of A B Dick's operations last August were to further Presstek's ability to create a powerful, unified organisation, strengthen our organisational efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Those steps conform to those intentions.

We remain committed to fully optimising the business assets acquired with A B Dick and maximising efficiencies for our company.

In the process, our intent is to create the strongest sales, support and service delivery system in the industry.

In the relatively short time Sue has been with Presstek, her vision has helped shape our new organisation.

We will miss her and wish her the very best in her next endeavour.".
