Presstek has appointed Betty LaBaugh to the position of public relations manager.

Brian Wolfenden, director of marketing communications at Presstek, said: "We are delighted to have Betty join our organisation.

We expect that her broad marketing expertise and industry experience will add considerable value to Presstek's marketing team.

Betty will focus her efforts on raising market awareness with targeted constituencies in support of our business growth initiatives." LaBaugh has over 25 years' experience in the graphic arts industry, including 18 years in business-to-business technology marketing.

Prior to joining Presstek, she operated her own marketing consulting business and held marketing positions at Polaroid and Agfa.

LaBaugh will be responsible for managing Presstek's relationship with the North American trade press, manage the company's European PR agency, and participate in the development of integrated marketing campaigns.

In addition, LaBaugh will further cultivate Presstek's relationships with industry trade associations and the industry analyst community, said the company.
