Presstek Marketing Man Joins Quick Print Board

The National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP) has appointed Todd Chambers, Presstek's senior vice president and chief marketing officer, to its 12-man board of governors.

Presstek commented that the NAQP provides quick printers and small commercial printers with the knowledge, tools and resources for success and improved profitability.

The organisation, founded in 1975, has more than 1,000 members.

Steve Johnson, president and chief executive officer of NAQP, said: "Todd's direct marketing expertise and 20-plus years of experience in the technology sector make him an excellent addition to NAQP's board of governors.

We look forward to working with him and to extending our relationship with Presstek." Chambers commented: "I am eager to work with NAQP members on the critical issues facing this dynamic sector of the commercial printing market.

Presstek traditionally has enjoyed a great relationship with NAQP as an association sponsor and an active participant in NAQP events.

NAQP said that the short-run colour printing market is the fastest growing segment of the industry, according to Infotrends' data.

The segment, with run lengths between 250 and 10,000 copies, is particularly suitable for Presstek's DI press and chemistry-free CTP systems, said the company.
