Digital Print World will see Presstek showing its 34DI direct imaging press and introducing and demonstrating the Presstek Momentum Pro workflow system on stand 146.

Presstek's DI Equipped Presses To Fore At Drupa
Presstek manufacturer and marketer of digital imaging systems is showcasing its array of Profire enabled DI presses at Drupa 2004.
It images all four plates simultaneously on-press and produces up to 7,000 printed sheets an hour.
Building on its Momentum RIP, the new Presstek Momentum Pro Integrated PDF Workflow system is a fully-integrated RIP and workflow system designed to streamline and automate the production process using certified PDF tools.
The workflow can be used as a centralised PDF creation and pre-flight system, ensuring consistent output to multiple devices for small to mid-size printers, added the company.
Raymond Hillhouse, sales and operations director at Presstek Europe, commented: "The new Momentum Pro is a simple, easy-to-use and affordable workflow that provides versatile job management with an easy user interface, streamlining the print production process.
Its improved PDF capability gives printers the ability to control the workflow from the pre-press workstation and increase productivity all in one flexible workflow system." The Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader, which is a new plate-loading automation feature for Presstek's four-page thermal CTP platesetter system.
It is claimed to be a cost-effective, automated plate loader that is fully integrated with the Dimension450 and mounts up to 20 pre-punched plates for continuous operation.
The Autoloader enhances imaging productivity, allowing continuous chemistry-free plate making at a throughput speed of 17 plates per hour, added Presstek.
Hillhouse explained: "The Dimension450 Excel-Autoloader streamlines the workflow with its automated, chemistry-free and daylight safe CTP plate loader, helping to increase productivity and capacity.".
