The inclusion in Perfect Colours' range of the HP machines is said to dovetail with the opening of the new HP Business Solution Centre at the company's London site.

The workstations will be available for reviews and demonstrations and will also be running the majority of the printers within the Solution Centre, added Perfect Colours.

The features within the HP xw4400 and xw8400 makes them suitable vehicles over a range of industry sectors, such as CAD, CAE, GIS, financial, research, software development, EDA and oil and gas, added the company.

The xw4400 embraces the new Intel Core micro-architecture with Intel Core 2 Duo Processors or Pentium D processors, Intel 975X Express chipset for improved performance and scalability, as well as a range of 2D and high-end 3D graphics systems, whilst supporting multi-displays of up to four monitors with mid-range 3D graphics on each.

Perfect Colours said that the xw8400 also features 64 bit Intel Xeon dual processor and dual-core performance, pre-installed HP Performance Tuning Framework and eight memory slots.

Both workstations have a large selection of accessories available.
