Prestige Colour has become the 300th user of a DPX computer-to-plate product.

The company purchased the Esko Graphics DPX System packaged with a Ryobi 524HE.

There are over 300 of the machines installed in the UK, making it one of the most popular CtP solutions on the market.

The DPX system is an internal drum digital exposure unit that produces polyester plates up to 460mm by 550mm in size.

The product features a wide range of imaging resolutions from 900 to 3600 dots per inch and high productivity.

The use of dual-plate cassettes provides tremendous benefits for printing companies utilising more than one format of press, as two different sizes of plate can be produced without the need to change material in the output device.

The system incorporates built-in plate punches, which can provide both landscape and portrait format punching; with the ability to utilise the different punch formats fro each roll of material held in the system.

The internal processor means instant, automatic processing of imaged material for ready-to-run plates.
