Digital print firm Pinders' is helping a Sheffield (UK) charity make a big impact on the fundraising front.

Digital print firm Pinders' is helping a Sheffield (UK) charity make a big impact on the fundraising front.

Pinders' has produced two 20-foot boards for the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal in Sheffield.

The new four colour information boards outside Weston Park Hospital tell people about the Rose Appeal, the campaign to raise GBP1m to completely refurbish the first floor of the hospital to provide a new chemotherapy suite.

The two boards were printed using Pinders' two new print and finishing machines especially imported from the USA and Norway.

The combination of equipment highlights Pinders' print capacity to provide bespoke services for big print jobs, said the company.

Rachel Thorpe, acting director for the cancer appeal, said: "These enormous signs are bound to have a striking impact and will really raise awareness of the rose appeal.

They are very eye catching and we're very grateful to Pinders' for all their support." David Whiteway, joint managing director of Pinders', said: "These new machines are ideal for jobs like this.

The large format high-end digital printing that we can provide is perfect for a huge and eye-catching display and hopefully ideal raising the profile of the campaign.

We're proud to have the technology on board to be able to help out a very worthy local charity like the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal and we look forward to supporting the campaign with more creative ideas in the future." The Vutek super wide format digital printing press allows Pinders' to produce full colour, finished, weatherproof graphics directly on to virtually any surface up to two metres wide for projects including photographic backdrops, vinyl banners, packaging, display boards, construction boards and point of sale material, advertising billboards and building wraps.

The new six metre square specialist Esko cutting table also means prints can be cut, routed, perforated or creased in to any shape, said Pinders.
