Sheffield digital printer Pinders has shown how to stay cool in an emergency, turning around advertising overnight for two regional UK companies.
Pinders is investing a significant amount into the overhaul of the building as part of its ambitious expansion and job creation plans which so far has attracted combined grant funding from Sheffield First for Investment and Yorkshire Forward.
David Whiteway, joint managing director of Pinders, said: "Sheffield's skyline is rapidly transforming with new developments and established buildings being revamped and modernised".
"Everyone can see the investment across the city - cranes on the horizon are always a sign that a city is on the up".
"We want to be a part of that".
"We have made huge investments within the building and the time has come to bring the outside in line with what's going on inside".
""Our machines and processes now place us at the forefront of technology in large digital printing and bespoke finishing as well as complementing our existing small format digital capability".
"Our investment in the building proves our continued commitment to Sheffield." Pinders' investment programme included the acquisition of two new print and finishing machines that were specially imported from the USA and Norway at a cost of £300,000 late last year.
This pioneering combination of equipment now allows Pinders to produce print work across a wide spectrum of promotional and marketing initiatives from personal work to huge advertising billboards and building wraps.
