Digital print producer Pinders has helped Sheffield (UK) accountants Hart Shaw raise charity cash through a gruelling alpine challenge.

Digital print producer Pinders has helped Sheffield (UK) accountants Hart Shaw raise charity cash through a gruelling alpine challenge.

The Hart Shaw team was sponsored by the city-based print company who also provided T-shirts for the adventurers.

Tom Preece, senior business consultant at Hart Shaw, led the team, which completed the tough weekend of action in the French Alps that involved white water rafting, rock jumping, abseiling, mountain racing and a tree-top aerial assault course.

But it was all worth it as the team picked up the trophy for the highest fund raisers securing pledges totaling more than GBP6,500.

The money will go to Sheffield Children's Hospital and the Cavendish Care Centre - Hart Shaw's adopted charities for the year.

Hart Shaw's joint managing director, David Whiteway.

said: "We are delighted to have been able to help the team from Hart Shaw in raising so much money for such worthwhile local charities and we look forward to continuing our support in the future." Preece was joined on the alpine challenge by Hart Shaw corporate finance executive Mark Sims, Alexa Greaves of Sheffield-based clients AAG Investments and South Yorkshire police inspector Lisa Mitcheson.
