An expanding Sheffield (UK) company has added to its growing team by appointing a new operations manager.

An expanding Sheffield (UK) company has added to its growing team by appointing a new operations manager.

Digital print company Pinders has appointed Kevin White to manage all aspects of production, including planning, quality control and print processes.

White has worked in printing all his life having worked for 21 years at Ratcliffe and Roper in his home town of Worksop.

He started out as a casual print hand and worked his way up to become a director before seeking a new challenge in Sheffield.

He said: "Having worked for so long at a traditional litho printers, the transition to digital print and its advantages has given me a broader scope of the print industry overall.

I'm looking forward to a career at Pinders, which has a culture of forward thinking and is technologically advanced in the digital market that it serves.

It's a totally different environment here.

At a traditional printers, production may take three to five days to complete but with Pinders' capacity for quick turn-around, digital print output jobs could be completed in as little as three hours." David Whiteway, joint managing director of Pinders, said: "We are absolutely delighted to welcome Kevin to Pinders.

He has a very impressive background in the industry and his expertise and talent will enhance the team wonderfully.".
