Digital printing company Pinders has acquired new staff and restructured its sales and production staff as part of its expansion plans.

The Sheffield (UK) company said it has added to its pre-press, print, finishing and sales staff to better serve its increasing customer base and manage new services, including digital printing Carly Register, Andrew Edwards and Emilia Fuller are the latest employees to join the team in a recruitment drive that was possible partly due to a grant from the Jigsaw scheme, which offers financial support to high growth sector businesses in South Yorkshire

David Whiteway, managing director at Pinders, said: "The grant is helping the company to develop, fund and implement our ambitious project to encourage growth within the business.

It is certainly an exciting time for the new staff to join Pinders.

We are looking at a substantial growth period for the company.

This recruitment is in response to growing business demands.

Reputation alone does not deliver results and we needed significant additional resources to maintain the high level of service we offer." Pinders has also received funding from Business Link South Yorkshire's Invest for Growth 2 scheme (IFG2).

The project is part-financed by the European Union's European Regional Development Fund provided through the South Yorkshire Objective 1 Programme, which is helping businesses in South Yorkshire strive for further success, added Pinders.

Pinders started as a one man business in 1938.

It now employs 41 staff over 16,500 square feet of office space and the company is planning to expand by a further 20,000 square feet in the near future.
