Sheffield print firm Pinders has produced 15 Las Vegas prints for a charity event in the UK city.

Pinders produced the 'Viva Las Vegas' prints for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal's themed gala ball.

Hundreds of guests descended on Sheffield's St Paul's Hotel for the fundraising event, which raised more than GBP75,000 for the hospital's cancer appeal.

The appeal is Pinders' charity of the year.

All proceeds from the ball will go towards the hospital's internationally-accredited research in to bone cancer and the provision of a specialist chemotherapy nurse in the research centre at the hospital.

David Whiteway, joint managing director of Pinders, said: "This print job further highlights our ability to produce bespoke, high quality digital prints of almost any quantity at short notice and I have to say the room looked fantastic on the night.

It's also good to be able to show support for our charity for the year and we look forward to working on more projects with the hospital in the future." Sheffield's Weston Park Hospital is one of only three hospitals in the UK dedicated exclusively to cancer treatment.

All money raised by the Cancer Appeal is used to fund research and improve the care of patients at the hospital.

Rachel Thorpe, Senior Fundraiser for the hospital's Cancer Appeal, said: "The prints looked fabulous.

They really helped set the mood for the evening and set us up for a great night of fundraising.

All the prints were extremely eye catching and we're very grateful for Pinders' support." Pinders said its wide format digital print technology allows it to produce full coloured, finished, weatherproof graphics directly on to virtually any surface up to two metres wide for projects including photographic backdrops, vinyl banners, packaging, display boards, construction industry boards and point of sale material.
