PIA Gets new Variable Data Printing

Brad Lena has joined the PIA/GATF as its primary consultant for digital and variable data printing.

The organisation said that Lena will be responsible for helping member companies compete successfully in the burgeoning digital printing and variable data markets In his role as consultant, Lena will also join PIA/GATF's instructional faculty, presenting seminars, webinars and workshops on digital printing and variable data

He will provide assistance on strategy, as well as specific aspects of client development, data capture and management, measurement and reporting, production and quality control, as well as printing and mailing issues.

Lena has over 25 years of experience in the graphic arts and advertising industries, including direct mail programme creation and development, creative, copywriting and database marketing.

Prior to joining PIA/GATF, he was the director of new business development for Daniels Graphics, a marketing support services firm working in the personalised direct mail market.

PIA/GATF said Lena has been profiled by HP as a variable data printing innovator and had several of his marketing campaigns published nationally as case studies.

He has also shared his experiences at the PIA/GATF variable data and personalisation conference and the On Demand conference and exposition, in addition to client seminars.

Michael Makin, president and chief executive officer of PIA/GATF, said: "We continue to expand our resources in digital printing and variable data.

Brad will share his hard-earned lessons and help companies adjust their businesses and production approaches to tap in to this high-profit area.".
