Conference Helps Firms Adopt Variable Data Print
PIA/GATF's Variable Data and Personalisation Conference from November 4 - 6 in Phoenix, Arizona (USA) will feature an expanded array of topics.
Last year, thirty-one entries were received and eleven innovative technologies were recognized with an InterTech Award.
The submission process is straightforward for those companies that wish to enter a technology.
An application packet, containing detailed information about the technology as well as testimonials from users of the technology, is required for each entered technology.
Although PIA/GATF is the sponsor of the award and coordinator of the award process, the organization does not select the recipients.
An independent and anonymous award selection committee comprised of industry technical experts and users determines the recipients.
It is not necessary to be a PIA/GATF member to enter a technology.
PIA/GATF now offers an InterTech early bird registration form online at www.intertechaward.com.
If this form is submitted by March 31, 2008, applicants will secure an entry fee of USD1500 (payable with submission of the complete application).
For registrations received after the early bird deadline, the entry fee is USD1,750.
Completed application packets should be postmarked by no later than May 30, 2008.
InterTech Award recipients are notified no later than July 31, 2008.
Recipients of the selected technologies will receive a custom-designed award - a colorful multi-layered, hand-crafted InterTech star.
More information on the InterTech Awards, including application specifications, and details on previous InterTech recipients, is available at www.intertechaward.com.
