Mailing and polywrapping specialist, Priority Newstrade and Mailing, has promoted Kevin Poore to production director.

Poore will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of the company's production line at its 30,000 square foot facility in Downton, Wiltshire (UK).

He joins the board of directors alongside managing director, Terry Turner, financial director, Paul Nation and director and general manager, Paul Butcher.

Poore's promotion is the next step in his career with Priority, which began in 1991 when he joined the company as a machine assistant on the SITMA production line.

In 2001, having already taken responsibility for managing the SITMA process, he became production manager and began handling some of the company's key accounts including some of the UK's leading publishing houses.

"Priority is regarded as a high quality, reliable provider of a range of newstrade and mailing services," commented Poore.

"In order for us to maintain that reputation we have to make sure we meet the wrapping and mailing deadlines that our customers set".

" My experience as part of the production team helps me to foresee any problems and adjust our process accordingly." Managing Director Terry Turner added: "We knew straight away that he had great potential and I am delighted to welcome him on to the Board.

He is dedicated, hard-working and enthusiastic and I look forward to having him help us take the business forward.".
