Direct Mail Inserters' Ease Of Operation
Pitney Bowes, the mail and messaging specialist, has launched the Fastpac Inserting System DI900 and DI950, designed to maximise the impact of mail communications.
Both machines are claimed to offer features usually only seen on high-volume mailing technology, which are harnessed through the Pacpilot user interface.
The Pacpilot colour graphical display uses menus, photographs and graphics to guide even inexperienced users through the steps of loading materials, setting up new jobs and selecting or editing existing ones.
Charles Klein, industrial design manager at Pitney Bowes, commented: "Both product lines endured a gruelling adjudication process, competing with 2,000 entries from 37 countries and passing two rounds of judging before they could be recognised with their individual awards.
The IF product design awards recognises Pitney Bowes' commitment to leading edge industrial design." Since 1994, the product design and usability department at Pitney Bowes has received 19 design accolades, including six IF design awards.
Since its inauguration in 1953, the IF design award has existed as a trademark for outstanding design.
Whilst demonstrating a company's commitment to innovation, the award is a valuable symbol for buyers - a useful decision-making tool in the marketplace, commented Pitney Bowes.
