Pitney Bowes' new Product Attaching System is claimed to be help users increase revenue by integrating value-added services.

The system automates the attachment of products, such as embossed cards, business cards, loyalty cards and even novelty magnets at claimed speeds of up to 25,000 mail pieces per hour The servo driven card feeder applies cards to within a tolerance of 3mm and can place two cards on one piece

According to Pitney Bowes users can reduce operational costs through the flexible system, which makes it easy to set-up and operate.

A single Programmable Logic Control system is said to allow fast and easy adjustments to be made to meet current and future requirements and process a range of applications and material.

The system helps businesses increase productivity thanks to a fast change-over to new applications in 15 minutes or less and the integrated Nordson O Hot Glue system enables setup through a centralised interface, said Pitney Bowes.
