In recognition, of the increasing number of companies looking to expand in to the export market, Picon will be hosting a seminar entitled 'Planning your Export Strategy'.
As an accredited trade organisation, Picon secured funding and provided support for a group of 45 British companies for Labelexpo, Brussels, in September 2003.
It marked the third consecutive Labelexpo for which Picon had secured Support for Exhibitions and Seminars Abroad (SESA) funding for a group of British members and non-members travelling to overseas markets.
The rating achieved by Picon is based on strict performance criteria set independently by the Outward Missions Scheme (OMS) and SESA scheme.
Paul Evans, Picon business development manager commented: "Achieving a green rating means that Picon has successfully and fully met the necessary criteria.
We are particularly pleased to receive this tribute, not simply because it is gratifying for the team but, much more important, it means both Picon members and British group members are receiving the best support available to help them with their export activities." The rating allocated is based upon the group organiser achieving the highest marks in each of seven categories including vision, leadership, ownership, effectiveness, recruitment and delegate preparedness, as well as mission and event development and mission and event closure and follow-up.
