Picon Welcomes Four New Members

Picon has announced the addition of the Danwood Group, Pomeroy Pressroom Products, Magnacutter and Process Instruments to its expanding membership base.

Picon has announced the addition of the Danwood Group, Pomeroy Pressroom Products, Magnacutter and Process Instruments to its expanding membership base.

The Danwood Group is one of the largest independent suppliers of office services in the UK and Ireland.

A distributor of consumables for printers, facsimile machines, graphic arts, telecoms and storage back-up devices, Danwood also offers a range of hardware and technology, as well as providing consultancy and after sales support from its sales and services centres.

Commenting on Danwood's decision to join Picon, Gerry Mulvaney, divisional director of the Danwood Group's Graphics Production Systems Divison said: "We already have alliances with a number of other suppliers to the printing industry and we regard our Picon membership as a strong endorsement of our commitment to this marketplace." Pomeroy Pressroom Products offer a choice of pressroom hygiene and safety systems to help businesses comply with the relevant UK and European Union regulations.

Products vary from general pressroom cleaners to hand protection for employees.

Danwood and Pomeroy have been joined at Picon by Magnacutter and Process Instruments.

Magnacutter is a die cutting, kiss cutting, perforating and creasing business and uses the MC3 rotary sheet fed machine to perforate sheets at claimed speeds of up to 7,000 sheets per hour.

Process Instruments is a supplier of instrumentation to the paper industry, and water and waste industries.

The company produces charge analysers, consistency monitors, particle counters, streaming current monitors and other control systems.
