A Picon product story

After 12 years Picon's chief executive, John Brazier, will leave the organisation at the end of this month.

Commenting on Brazier's departure, Roy Caslon, chairman of Picon, the trade association for manufacturers and suppliers to the UK printing, paper making and paper converting industries, said: "On behalf of Picon Council and its members, I would like to thank John for his outstanding commitment and contribution to the development of Picon over the past 12 years and wish him every success for the future." He continued: "Whilst the sale of Ipex to IIR Informa last year secured the Picon's financial future, it also created the opportunity for the Picon council to completely review the support services we offer our members and to re-assess the team required to fulfil those needs.

Picon is now in a unique and secure position as a trade organisation to support its membership going forward." John Brazier commented: "I have enjoyed my time at Picon as chief executive and have taken great pride, during my tenure, with the support of dedicated staff, in working with council to provide the services package to the members.

This, together with numerous other industry and external connections has enabled me to make a significant contribution to the development of Picon as a leading trade association.".
