Plastiscene joined with material supplier Celloglas and cardboard engineering company Atomic MK, to produce a 3D Christmas card with a shiny metallic effect.

Plastiscene UV litho printers produces Mirri board for clients.

Mirri board is claimed to give a premium effect and is used for luxury packaging, CD and DVD covers, event invitations and corporate Christmas cards amongst other things.

The Plastiscene and atomic card was produced using a matt brushed aluminum material and the Celloglas card was created using Hazy Days from the Holographic range.

Celloglas used a two sided board and Plastiscene and Atomic MK used a one-sided board.

The Plastiscene and Atomic MK card had printed branding on the white reverse areas and a Christmas message on the Mirri side printed in white.

The cards arrived flat packed in a matt brushed aluminum envelope and were delivered to Plastiscene, Celloglas and Atomic MK clients.

The feedback has been very positive, according to Jennifer Deacon, the group marketing manager at Plastiscene, who commented "The card is an excellent demonstration of UV litho print on to Mirri board".
