Workflow, Colour Management Sales Boost

Pro Image is expanding in to Nordic, Baltic and Eastern Europe countries and has appointed Derek Carter as business development manager for the region.
Carter will be responsible for introducing the company's workflow, ink optimisation and colour image processing systems to the region's newspaper printing industry His previous experience includes similar business development and sales management positions with Esko-Graphics, EFI and GMG Color

Pro Image has announced that its Nordic distributor, VBS, has signed an order for another Newsway system, this time at Sydsvenskan Tryck AB (STAB) in Malmo (Sweden).
Pro Image's manager, Izzet Edige, said: "Derek has enjoyed many years of success in the industry.
We look forward to working with him to introduce our world-class systems to the many newspaper publishers and printers in the region." Pro Image is a developer of browser-based digital workflow and production tracking systems for the newspaper and commercial printing industries.
The company claimed that 500 newspaper titles are produced each day with its Newsway workflow management software.
The company said that using a standard internet browser and standard platform hardware, its workflow technology offers the printing industry flexible workflow management, colour processing and production tracking systems.
Pro Image sells directly in some parts of the world and through dealers in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Scandinavia, Spain, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China, India and Thailand.
