Newspaper's Workflow's RIP Digital Integrity

Prepage-it Newsflo 2.0 is claimed to be the only newspaper production workflow system on the market to bring the digital integrity of true RIP Once Output Many (ROOM) to all levels of newspaper production.

That is said to include advertising make-up, page make-up and final page pairing.

True ROOM is said to guarantee that the printed version will always match the proof.

Newsflo 2.0 achieves this whilst maintaining a complete PDF workflow for internet and archive production purposes.

The Salina Journal is using Newsflo to produce two dailies, several weeklies, as well as several monthly products as tabloid, broadsheet and quarter fold.

In addition to using Newsflo to image the Southern Lithoplate's Viper 830 CTP plates on its News 2000 CTP.

Polkadots added that the Salina Journal is also taking advantage of Newsflo's ability to simultaneously create a PDF version of the paper for the web.

The PDF for web is one of the standard features of a Newsflo system added Polkadots.
