Pigment-Based Inks For Wide Format Printers
Pantone Inc has announced the European availability of its Colorvantage pigment-based inks for Epson wide-format printers.
It's the size of a miniature torch, lightweight, and is powered by a standard nine-volt battery, and has great accuracy and is very straightforward and extremely easy to use, said the company.
The system provides Pantone Colour ink formulae, CMYK, RGB, sRGB, HTML, Lab and Hexachrome values by way of a simple scrolling feature, saving the time it takes to cross-reference colours.
"Designers have never had a compact, affordable tool for this job," said Richard Herbert, president of Pantone.
"The design of the Colour Cue reduces the cost of colour identification compared to other measuring devices costing thousands of dollars.".
