The new site will be called Atlas House, named in tribute to the first Potts site, which was established in the 1800s on the north of the River Tyne.

As well as the 50,000 square foot of office, production and warehouse space already developed, Potts has also bought another 50,000 square feet of land adjacent to the building, which will be developed during 2007 to create a storage and logistics operations centre.

It is double the size of our North Shields location and has been equipped with state of the art communications, offices and production capabilities." He added: "The location is ideally positioned for local and national clients.

Potts is also re-branding with a new logo, website and marketing campaign along with the move.
Potts began as a family run business more than 130 years ago in North Shields.
It offers pre-press services and a research and development facility for designers in commercial and packaging markets.
Printing and finishing is produced completely in-house and storage and distribution throughout the UK and Europe is all controlled from the Potts site.
The company said that it includes some of the biggest brand names in UK and Europe in the commercial print, direct marketing and bespoke printed carton packaging markets.
