Potts was the headline supporter for the for a Sunshine Fund Celebrity Question of Sport event, along with ITPS, which was held at the Marriott Gosforth Park Hotel.

Mark Devine, commercial director at Potts, said: "We have shown our support to the Sunshine Fund for a second year because we believe it is such a fantastic charity that helps so many disabled children in the North East.

We had a great night at the Question of Sport event last year so that encouraged us to support the cause again." The quiz ran throughout the night with various sporting themed prizes on offer for those on the winning tables.

There were also special raffle and auction prizes.
