Sheffield-based print house, Proco, has chosen Showcase 2005, the forum for print buyers and print related companies, to unveil its latest innovations in digital print.

The Print Yorkshire event, to be held at the Royal Armouries, Leeds (UK) on October 6 2005, aims to give anyone involved in the purchase of print, an insight in to the printing industry and many of the new innovations and opportunities on the horizon.

Proco, which specialises in variable data digital printing in the UK, is joining print industry colleagues from across the region for the event, which has almost sold out.

Robert McClements, senior executive at Print Yorkshire, said: "Proco offers digital marketing services that are capable of merging creative and technical briefs for the advertising and design agency market and companies operating in CRM initiatives, direct marketing and data capture.

They will add considerable value to a very strong exhibitor base." Proco just moved to new premises in the regenerated Parkway area of Sheffield and has invested in the latest digital press technology to improve its offer to the three growth markets ideal for its service - web driven on demand production, manual production where on demand printing and print durability are strong features and photo related applications.

Graham Congreve, director of sales and marketing at Proco, commented: "We're delighted to be taking part in Showcase 2005.

The digital print and direct mail market is seeing substantial growth and by raising awareness of our creative capabilities, Print Yorkshire will help us reach new clients and projects." Print Yorkshire, a partnership between Yorkshire Forward and the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), aims to ensure that the print and printed packaging sector in Yorkshire and the Humber maintains its position as a major national player, builds upon its successes and excels as the region's next key cluster.
