In January, networking events are taking place across Yorkshire and the Humber in the UK so specialists can inform, advise and discuss a number of hot topics with delegates.

Print Yorkshire is providing an opportunity for all print company managers and directors to learn from the experts about topics such as high performance, making money from waste and the people side of process management.

With all events, a buffet at 6.30pm will be followed by the presentation at 7.00pm.

On January 18 January, in the Premier Lounge at Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, the seminar will cover high performance teams.

According to Print Yorkshire, such teams out-perform their rivals because efforts of the team members combine to produce results that exceed the sum of their individual efforts.

On January 19 January at the Country Park Inn, Humber Bridge, Hessle, the event will focus on the people side of process management.

The presenter will be Michael Barker, a multi-programme trainer from management training company Dale Carnegie.

The seminar to be held at at Tankersley Manor, Barnsley (close to the M1 motorway, junction 36) will cover how to make money out of waste as print companies face ever-tighter restrictions on waste management.

The forums are part of a series of networking events organised by Print Yorkshire, the partnership between Yorkshire Forward and the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF).
